Sickle Cell Disease in India: Passing baton to the next generation

One of the primary goals of our get together by means of hands on workshops, webinars, conferences is to bring together scientists working on SCD since last last 50 years. We are fortunate to welcome most senior scientists who established initial epidemiology studies during 70s. Sharing their rich experience is useful to carry baton to the next generation. Priority areas of SCD research are: Epidemiology, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics with reference to scientific research. SCD Elimination Mission 2047 of Government of India fueled energy into SCD, but that should not be limited to Screening only. We need more scientists in these three domains: Epidemiology, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics. "Human -Machine -Technology - Reagent" are the four pillars of making anything affordable, feasible to tackle any disease.

ADEETECH® , a pioneer in SCD skill development in India, in collaboration with academic institutions in India is committed for this common goal to develop skilled human resource in India for India.
